The Parish Council currently have three vacancies, and it would be great if you would like to get involved in village matters. There are different ways to fill these vacancies, so please take the time to have a look through and feel free to ask any questions.
VACANCY ONE – this is open to any person who qualifies to be a Renhold Parish Councillor, with the Parish Council able to co-opt an individual to this vacancy at the June Parish Council meeting.
VACANCY TWO – this follows from the election of notice relating to the South West Parish Ward, as no election was called by the electorate, it means that any person, who qualifies to be a Renhold Parish Councillor, even if they do not live in the South West Ward (Cranborune Gardens) can come forward. The Parish Council are able to co-opt an individual to this vacancy at the June Parish Council meeting.
VACANCY THREE – this follows from the election of notice relating to the North Parish Ward, where the electorate have called for no election. This means a different process is followed for this vacancy to be filled. For anyone who would like to be nominated for this vacancy, please look over the attached guidance notes issued from the Borough Council for candidates, as well as the timeline that has been collated by the local authority.
