1. A Referendum will take place on Thursday 5 March 2026 (Hours of Poll will be 7am –
10pm) to decide on the question below: “Do you want Bedford Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Renhold to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”
2. New applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Registration, Bedford Borough Council, Cauldwell Street, Bedford, MK42 9AP by midnight on Tuesday 17 February 2026.
3. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Registration, Bedford Borough Council, Cauldwell Street, Bedford, MK42 9AP by 5pm on Wednesday 18 February 2026.
4. Applications to vote by proxy at this referendum must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Registration, Bedford Borough Council, Cauldwell
Street, Bedford, MK42 9AP by 5pm on Wednesday 25 February 2026.
5. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 25 February 2026. 6. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this referendum must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Bedford Borough Council, Cauldwell Street, Bedford, MK42 9AP by 5pm on Thursday 5 March 2026.
