Avian Flu, is a disease in poultry and birds. Recently, there have been new rules introduced which are coming into effect on 1st October 2024 requiring bird keepers to register in a national effort to help reduce the effects or any Avian Flu outbreaks we might have. As such the local authority have sent out information to local businesses who are known to sell bird products across the borough with information that can be displayed in stores on how and/why to register.
