Our hedge-cutting contractor will be working throughout Renhold at the end of this week and into the weekend, weather permitting, both pushing back overgrowth and reducing height of the hedge.
It is the ideal time of year to cut overhanging hedges back which have not been cut back hard for a number of years. They are encroaching on several pavements, narrowing them to the extent that it is difficult to pass either walking, with a buggy or wheelchair.
The contractor will also concentrate on the hedges on the roadside to enable safe access and visibility on corners and splays.
There will be two people working with a tractor to ensure the safety of anyone passing by and we have all safety documentation for this work but please be aware that this necessary work is happening and that you may have to wait to pass the machinery until it is safe to do so.
