NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE FULL PARISH COUNCIL
I hereby give you notice that the meeting of RENHOLD PARISH COUNCIL will be held at
RENHOLD PRIMARY SCHOOL, CHURCH END
from 7:00pm on Thursday 2nd April 2026. All members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend a meeting for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted as set out below. Members of the public are invited to speak during the Open Forum.

MEETING BUSINESS TO BE TRANSACTED
1. Welcome by Chair, apologies for absence, declarations of Personal and Prejudicial Interest to be received
2. OPEN FORUM – members of the public invited to speak
3.1 Planning and Development – for full Council to consider:
a) APPLICATION NO:- 26/00527/TPO Tree group in rear of garden. 4 Ash, 2 field maple, 2 oak – All to be crown raised to 5m clear of ground level at 24 Becher Close
b) APPLICATION NO:-26/00528/TPO T1 Ash – Removal. T2 Ash – Removal. T3 Ash – Removal at 24 Becher Close Renhold
c) APPLICATION NO:- 26/00351/COU Change of use from dwelling house (Use Class C3) to residential
institution (Use Class C2) at 2 Becher Close – including amended plans
d) APPLICATION NO:- 26/00453/S73 Erection of a single storey front extension, raising of bungalow roof and installation of dormer windows and roof lights to facilitate loft conversion and associated works including alteration to driveway and external alterations (Revised scheme, development already commenced), including variation of approved plans condition 1 attached to 25/01289/S73A to allow for amendments to vehicle access arrangement at Elmleigh 18 Wilden Road
e) APPLICATION NO:- 26/00582/TELLN 1X 10m medium wooden pole. (In accordance with Regulation 5 of the Electronic Communications Code (Conditions and Restrictions) Regulations 2003 (as amended) and Class A Part 16 of Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended)) This is a notification only to the Local Authority who have no determining power – outside 5 Woodifled Lane
3.2 Planning and Development – ratification of submitted comments by Parish Council to:
a) APPLICATION NO:- 26/00350/PIP Permission in Principle Erection of replacement of existing dwelling and erection of 1 (SELF BUILD) dwelling and access, parking and ancillary works at 64 Wilden Road
b) APPLICATION NO:- 25/02557/MAO Outline application for up to 49 units (including 17 affordable and 5 self build and custom build plots) associated landscaping, drainage and related infrastructure, with all matters reserved except for access at Land at Top End
3.3 Planning and Development – Parish Council representation at Planning Committee relating to:
APPLICATION NO:- 25/02485/COU Change of Use to a residential care home for 5 residents, staffed 24 hours a day by 8 members of staff at 30 Hookhams Lane – Committee meeting feedback
3.4 Planning and Development – Bedford Borough Council planning policy consultation: three new supplementary planning documents: the Design Code – Urban and Suburban Areas, the Design Code – Large Urban Extensions and New Settlements and Tall Buildings Guide – Bedford Urban Area – Parish Council consultation response to be agreed
3.5 Renhold Neighbourhood Plan Working Group report to include update on referendum
3.6 Planning and Development: agree responses to Applications received after the publication of the agenda if applicable
4. Borough Councillor Report to include update on Ravensden Road village entrance work
5. Parish Councillor membership and communication systems
6. FINANCE AND POLICY MATTERS to include
a) Quotations for consideration
b) Financial monitoring budget against actual year to date
c) Invoices to be paid
d) Appointment of internal auditor to be confirmed
7. To resolve to sign as a true and accurate record the minutes of the full Council meeting dated 26th February 2026, matters arising to be covered for information only
